Chemical injection system for PNC and Oslo Water and Sewerage Works

SPOT AS delivered a complete chemical injection system to the Bekkelaget wastewater treatment plant for PNC and Oslo Water and Sewerage Works – a turnkey project running from September 2019 to June 2020, with a strong focus on precision and operational reliability.

SPOT AS has delivered and installed a complete chemical injection system at the Bekkelaget wastewater treatment plant in eastern Oslo. The project was carried out on behalf of PNC and Oslo Water and Sewerage Works, starting in September 2019 and completed in June 2020.

The purpose of the system is to ensure accurate and efficient dosing of chemicals in the treatment process – a key part of maintaining water quality and meeting environmental standards in the capital’s wastewater network.

SPOT AS's scope of delivery included:

Procurement and installation of pumps
Construction of a regulation station
Nozzle systems tailored to the plant’s specific needs

The installation used PVC and PE piping materials, with glued and welded joints, in sizes ranging from 1″ to 4″. The system was delivered with high precision and documented quality, meeting requirements for both operational reliability and chemical handling.
